I'm Adam Michael Rose, a Los Angeles-based dialect coach and teaching artist.
SCHOOL THEATRE
I've been teaching accent workshops and accent coaching productions in high schools across the country for almost a decade. I've coached more shows that will fit here, but a few of my all-time favorites include Mary Poppins, Shrek, Steel Magnolias, Noises Off, Peter and the Starcatcher, Guys & Dolls, Arsenic and Old Lace and many more. I've been teaching accent workshops at high schools for almost 10 years. FESTIVALS
I present accent workshops at conferences and festivals throughout the country including EdTA's International Thespian Festival, EdTA's National Conference, CA State Thespian Festival, GA State Thespian Festival, TX State Thespian Festival, NV State Thespian Festival, MD State Thespian Festival, OR Thespian Festival, and CETA High School Theatre Festival.
FILM/TV
I coach on set in film and TV. I've worked with actors that have appeared in Game of Thrones, You, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Orange Is the New Black, Grey's Anatomy, La La Land, and HBO's Big Little Lies. I was also the production dialect coach for ABC's American Crime season 3, where I worked with Felicity Huffman, Timothy Hutton, Regina King, Lili Taylor, Janel Moloney, and Cherry Jones.
TRAINING
I am a certified teacher with Knight-Thompson Speechwork, and a graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. I've trained at the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute, Playwrights Horizons, The Theatre Lab of Washington DC, and the Baltimore Shakespeare Festival. I've also studied voice and speech with members of England's RSC (British American Drama Academy/BADA).
