Accents are often a major component of shows seen on high school stages everywhere!
...And they can often be scary for both the cast AND the director!
I will take your cast through the accent process, from start to finish, so you don't have to worry about it!
- First we'll start with an introduction to the accent(s)--we'll explore cultural and geographical elements, and listen to fun examples
- Next we'll break down the accent(s) into various sections that are simple and easy to grasp
- We'll immediately spring into action and play with the accent(s) in some theater games and improv. exercises
- Lastly, we'll dive into script work and start to apply the accent(s)
I'll bring professional coaching straight to your production, and I'll introduce your cast to everything they need to achieve accent success. I offer:
